Enjoy today's papers and I'll see you all again tomorrow with the iPad QP and Friday with the Neutral March Papers.

This Year-Girl Corrugated Cardboard Freebie (24 Hours Only)

First off, since I was so busy at work yesterday and didn't have time to post I will be posting again tomorrow-Saturday!  I'd like to thank everyone for the nice comments they have left since I started this series.  I appreciate it as it does take hours to create each portion of these kits.

I'm excited to start posting March's Papers, Elements and Alpha as I think they will be popular with many people not just those with kids.  Hint as to the theme of the Elements....many people have them and they treat them just like children.

I do like the texture of corrugated cardboard and find it easy to incorporate into layouts either as a background, layered paper or even clipped to a shape within the layout.  I hope you find many uses for these papers.

This Year-Boy Corrugated Cardboard Paper Freebie (24 hours only)

I'm going to share the corrugated cardboard papers this week for the This Year Series of Kits, then I'll share the March items right afterwards.  I'll be sharing some patterns between the March and April items.  I apologize for not posting yesterday or on the weekend.  Sean was up and we had a busy few days and time got away from us.  In the mean time, I hope you enjoy these papers and I'll be back tomorrow.

This Year-Girl Solid Paper Freebie (24 hours only)

It has been a busy day already.  Was up bright and early to change the sheets, make the bed, take the dog out and head into work this morning.  Sean is coming home for the rest of March Break and even thought I'm working all day and at my cleaning job tonight, I'm still anxious to see him.  I have tons of things to do while he is here, but hopefully we can do some of those things together...like make bread, cookies and muffins this weekend and I'm hoping we can get out for a winter picnic.

Alexandra came home with her Graduation Proof's on the weekend... oh my goodness!!! I can hardly wait till we get them without the word Proof written all over them to share with you. She is so beautiful and grown up. I can't believe she is only 17.... I think she looks like she should be graduating College or University but Yikes!!!! are they ever expensive to order!

What do you think?  Almost makes me want to cry, she is the baby of the family!  So here are the This Year-Girl Solid Papers.  I hope you enjoy the nice soft colours.

This Year-Boy Solid Paper Freebie (24 hours only)

I'm going to get away from the monthly kits for the next two weeks and share with you first some solid papers, then some patterned papers.  On their own they do look a little boring however layered or clipped to shapes or mattes in templates they look amazing.

If you have missed any parts of the This Year Series of Kits make sure you head over to IvyScraps with one of my coupon codes to pick up the pieces you have missed.

I was asked how I sort my kits.  Well, I've created a folder on my hard drive called This Year and then have in that folder a folder for each month, one named Alphabets and one named Paper Packs for the extra papers I will be handing out with this kit.  ie. Solids and patterned.  All the monthly items such as the January Papers and January Elements get put into the January Folder.  All the Alphabets, get unzipped into the Alphabet folder and the Extra Papers get unzipped into the Paper Packs Folder.  Make sense?  I hope so, I'm not always the best at explaining things.

Anyway, here are the This Year-Boy Solid Papers.  I hope you enjoy them.

I hope everyone is enjoying these papers so far.  I've had fun creating them and the kits that are going along with them.  I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in some Quick Pages created for the iPad?  I ask since I have one and my son and his gf are going to be getting one as well and thought I could turn some of their upcoming photo's from their trip into wallpaper for their iPad or just use it to display some of their pictures.    I created this using ..... can you guess?

New Kits on Sale, a Freebie and What is next

The end of the month and beginning of the month is always really busy for me at work since I am responsible for collecting rents, mortgage payments and making sure all bills are paid and such. Last week was a short week for us as Monday was a holiday here and the rest of the week was EXTREMELY busy. Lucky me had a migraine on Sunday and Monday and I was able to head back to work today but I will be off again Thursday and Friday as my son Robert will be finishing up his Infantry Training and then heading off to Manitoba after that.

So I have a new kit up in the store and all portions are available individually or as a whole and will be on sale for 20% off until Sunday. The kit is called Family Camping and the colours I chose were from the MEC catalog (Mountain Equipment Co-op) I have to say it is one of Sean's favorite stores and am secretly thankful that we don't have one here in North Bay as I'd never see him. I've named the characters in the kit after people in our family and I created four versions of each person in various skin tone's and hair colours.

In this elements preview from Left to Right the characters are Sean (funny thing is he does wear a hat like that out by the evening campfire), Tanya (my oldest daughter), Marc (the middle son) and Nathalie (me). Not all elements are shown in this preview but it does give you a good idea of what is in the kit. You will also find the paper flowers, frames (like in the frame cluster kit) and ribbons and such as part of this element pack. On sale until Sunday August 14th at 20% off here.

The paper pack consists of 26 papers in all. No not all are shown in the preview but consist of an equal mix of solid and patterned papers. Also on sale here for 20% off until Sunday August 14th.

The alphabet sets I created and there are five wooden sets in this kit can be found in the store here also on sale for 20% off until Sunday August 14th. The sets include all upper and lower case letters, numbers and a few symbols in each of the five colours shown. The string with leaves is not included but can be found in the element pack.

I loved creating these frames and you can find them in the store here and they are on sale until Sunday the 14th at 20% off.

If your looking for just a few pages for your camping pictures you can find these quick pages available here on sale until Sunday as well.

This is the Family Camping Mega Kit and it includes the Elements, Papers, Cluster Frames and Alphabet. This set is priced at $6.00 but you can find it on sale for $4.80 until Sunday August 14th. here

Tonight's freebie is another set of items that were created for an IvyScraps Collab. There will be three files over the next couple of days, two paper and one element zip files. I hope you all enjoy and I hope to be back with some nice pictures of Robert and his parade and Graduation. I'm going to have to keep an eye out on Alexandra and her Girlfriend she is bringing along as I'm sure they are bound to turn a few heads and neither look 16 and both are VERY naive. Good thing Dad is coming along in his own uniform and knows a few of the MP's on that base. LOL.

Lower Case Letter's Freebie

Sunny Fish Fun seems to be a hit! I've had a few e-mails regarding the kit and it's contents and people are surprised by everything inside. It is true the preview does not show all the other wonderful things that are part of the kit.. things like real sea shells, six different mermaids, different frames, charms, flowers, life buoy, waves, ribbons, sea shaped buttons, raffia bows and wraps and ties, straight ribbons and splashes.

You can find this product in the store here on sale until Wednesday July 13th, 2011 for 20% off.

Tonight's freebie is the lower case co-ordinating letter set and don't forget to leave a comment thanking Caitie and Philliip for naming my Sunny Fish Fun Kit. I will be drawing one random winner to win a set of Sunny Fish Fun Quick Pages.

Alphabet Freebie and Sunny Fun Fish Kit Previews

I'd like to introduce everyone to my new kit "Sunny Fish Fun" which was named by Caitie and Phillip & Michelle. Michelle is one of my customer's and frequent commenter on my blog and I knew she had kids and thought it would be a nice way to come up with a name for the kit. I'm not the most creative when it comes to naming kits. What do you think of the kit and name? If you leave a comment thanking Caitie and Phillip for naming this kit, I will enter your name into a draw to win this kit. I will pick a winner from all the Thank You's on Monday July 11th at 9AM EST. and post the name of the winner that evening. So leave a thank you for Caitie and Phillip.

Sunny Fun Fish Papers, Elements, Alphabet and Frames can be purchased individually or as a complete kit. They will be on sale at 20% off until Wednesday, July 13th, 2011.

Elements can be purchased here.

You can find the full kit priced at $6.00 BUT on sale here for $4.80 at 20% off until Wednesday, July 13th, 2011. The Full Kit includes the Elements, Papers, Frames, and Add-On Alphabet.

Here are the QP's you could potentially win if you leave a comment below for Caitie and Phillip thanking them for naming this kit.

Grad Paper Freebie

Its been a good day.....I was able to sleep in and when I did wake up Sean was bringing me my coffee in my spill proof mug.(A Contigo AutoSeal, spill proof Vacuumed Insulated Mug) Don't laugh but Dan our maintenance worker at work received one of these mugs as a Christmas gift and was telling me how much he loves it as it kept his coffee hot for hours and was spill proof. Now if you knew me even a little bit one thing you would quickly learn is that as much as I enjoy a good cup of coffee, I drink it very slowly. A few years back Sean bought me one of those cup warming gizmo's for my desk so I could keep my coffee warm but it does create a skim on the top of your coffee if left too long. Not appetizing. So, I bought a pair at Costco's and I have fallen in love with it. Like the idea that I can just toss it into my purse, like it even better that it keeps my coffee hot/warm for the advertised 6 hours and it is stainless steel so I don't have to worry about it breaking any time soon. I paid something like $22 for two mugs at Costco... so if your looking for a good coffee mug...check these out. Just click on the mug to be taken to the manufacturer's web page with the mug information.

So tonight we are down to the last two posts for the School Adventure Kit. Tonight's freebie are the Graduation Papers....tomorrow I will be posting the Graduation Elements. Enjoy the papers and I hope to see you all back tomorrow.

Bonus Patterned Paper Freebie

Are you excited that this School Adventure journey is almost over? This Saturday Evening I will be posting the Graduation Papers and then Sunday evening sometime I will post the Graduation Elements......I hope you are all looking forward to those. Don't forget that items are only available for about a day and a half... I post in evening, then they are up the next day for a full day and come down sometime after noon EST the following day. Any items you miss will be available in the store here but right now for the month of June you can collect the whole kit for only $4.50. Early in July the kit will be separated back into pieces and available in the store that way only.

I'm posting late this evening since I was at a get together for Sean's work tonight... I came home without him as I was not feeling well and he was enjoying himself.... I napped till he came home, he made me a cup of tea and of course now that I'm awake, I can't sleep. Yes, he did try to be quiet when he came in, the nap just threw my schedule off a bit though.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this evening's freebie... and I will be back tomorrow.
