October Baby Xmas Freebie

Its not near enough to Christmas just yet but it is tradition in my household that every year I buy the kids a new Christmas Ornament that way when they move out they have ornaments from childhood to start their own tree's with their family. I have started looking though for this years ornaments. This is where the idea for today's freebie came from.

I usually try to find an ornament that reflects the child's tastes and style. Like when Tanya was in her early teens, I found an ornament with an elf on the phone because...well our phone seemed to be glued to her ear at times. For Robert, I found a Knight because he liked to play soldier, Marc I found a police car because he wanted to be a police man when he grew up and Alexandra well was a princess...so I got her a mouse dressed up as a princess.

Since it would be impossible to create an individual ornament for everyone, I thought it might be nice to do one for each month of the year for a baby, and then possibly for individuals, like Mom, Dad, Grandma, Son, Daughter... so send in your requests for generic words to put on the ornaments and I'll see what I can do to accommodate everyone.


The colour I chose for tonight's freebie comes from the Birthstone for October which is Rose Quartz. I may decide to do an opal later on since this really is not suitable for most boys.
