Princess Alpha F Freebie

I thought on Monday that I would be able to go to work on Tuesday but I woke up at 4:30 AM absolutely freezing and nausea's. Yes, I had a fever, and a bladder infection.. and was sick to my stomach... it was not much fun. Turns out that one of the local schools of 600 students had approximately 200 of them off sick on Monday as well. Guess the flu is really hitting us hard.

I managed to get to work for about 2 hours this morning before getting sick to my stomach again. Alex stayed home today as her fever is back. Aggg, will it ever end! Thank goodness Marc hasn't caught it, although I have no idea how he has escaped with both of his sisters sick and me.

So latest news on my son Robert... his hand is broke in approximately 4 places, tendons torn as well. See's a specialist tomorrow about surgery. His team-mate pushed him out of the way of artillery fire (mock artillery fire as he is in basic training) and I guess the way he landed on his rifle and team mate on top of him lead to his broken hand. All is well though, spoke to him today... wants a care pkg. of candy, so I'm going to go buy him a box of Halloween chocolate bars. (And it has to be a box because he has to share any candy sent from home with his whole unit).
