The files are separated into two downloads. One for papers and the other for elements. I hope you enjoy both. I'll be back with more initials ornaments tomorrow.

The file I was protecting was this coming weekends posts. I have permission from Pam at Digitreats to create some special ornaments using her Run, Skip and Jump colours. I sent Pam the previews today and was protecting them until the weekend. So watch for my posts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Our First Christmas as Mr & Mrs along with "C"

Tonight's freebie was a request from Shar, who asked for a light blue ornament with "Our First Christmas as Mr & Mrs" and the letter C. I hope many of you can use these to your Christmas Pages.
This is going to be a quick post as I'm going to head out shortly to have a late dinner with Sean. His welcome back to work message was pretty much Welcome Home oh guess what, your going on Tour from June 1 to December 21 next year and before you go, your going to be gone for training so we are going to be apart more than the 32 weeks of his tour. Therefor, I'm going to advantage of all the chances we have to spend together now while we can.

Buone Feste Natalizie & Y

"Buone Feste Natalizie" for those that don't know it is Italian for Merry Christmas. I have the letter Y as your freebie for tonight. As I stated before I'm going to work on spelling out "Merry Christmas" first and then work on the rest of the alphabet. I'm not sure what other languages I'll create ornaments but if you let me know which ones you want, I'll see what I can create.
Tomorrow night I will be posting an ornament that was requested by Shar...she asked for a light blue ornament that says " Our First Christmas as Mr & Mrs"

Joyeux Noël & R

Continuing the trend of Merry Christmas in other languages, tonight we have French and our initial is R. I'm working on spelling out Merry Christmas first and then I'll get to the other letters of the alphabet.

We have a few inches of snow here, its been nice and cold the past week and I'm so glad I have the weekend to look forward to. I hope to get plenty done for the blog and post another kit to the stores.

I'd like to thank everyone for the suggestions for ornaments and sayings. I'll work on those this weekend and see what other surprises I can come up with for everyone.

Fröhliche Weihnachten & E

For those of you who didn't catch that "Fröhliche Weihnachten" is Merry Christmas in German. I am going to be creating a few special ornaments with different sayings and words on them along with the Initials. Since Christmas is just around the corner...I figure I better hand out more than one at a time if you are going to get the whole set before the holidays.

If your interested in how "Merry Christmas" is said around the world, why don't you check out this page

Some days I may have more than one as I still hope to do a few other types as well. I have "Our First Christmas" "Baby's First Christmas" "Joyeux Noel" and a few others in mind.

Here is the preview if you have a favorite colour you would like with a specific initial please let me know as I hope to create most of them this week and next.

Christmas 2008 Freebie

I'm going to make this a quick post tonight as I just got home from seeing a movie with Sean and just am feeling a bit under the weather. We saw "Quantum of Solace" and I really enjoyed it. I just wish that I had watched Casino Royal right before we had gone to see this as the story continues from the day after Vespa has died.

I'm also trying to do two things at once here, post my blog and entertain my sugar glidder Buttercup that is in a pouch on my lap and keeps poping her head out to see where her sister Peanut went (she decided to head back to her cage. Did you catch that...thier names are Peanut & Buttercup- I thought it was cute)

So tonights freebie is another ornament I really didn't get a response as to if anyone liked the idea of ornaments with initials on it Let me know what you think.

I wanted to respond to a comment that was made regarding the reindeer I had created for my DSO kit. Someone suggest that I should not be using Digitreats Reindeer and claim them as my own work. I appreciate peeople that watch out for pirates and for people claiming someone elses work as thier own as this shows me they would do they would respect my work as well. I'd like to assure everyone that Digitreats and I both purchased the same commercial use products to create the reindeer. If you would like further details... please feel free to e-mail me or contact Pam at Digitreats, I'm sure she would be happy to confirm that she is also using a commercial product to create her reindeer.

Sean is Home & A Freebie

It has been a busy day. Sean arrived home at midnight and we were up early with the kids. It was a busy day as it was also my best friend Mary's Birthday. I hadn't spoken to her the past few days and her husband works out of town, he is also in the military but works on another base two and a half hours from here. I guess by lunch she was feeling a little blue .... (she is also pregnant) because no one had remembered her Birthday. However Sean and I arrived with a Birthday Gift and cake and coffee and flowers for her. She started to cry... and cried even more when more flowers arrived and a note asking her out for dinner tonight... Her husband was coming home early to take her out for her Birthday.

Other than that... it was a long day so tonight will be an early night. I'm going to feed my girls... (I have to sugar gliders as pets) and my cuddle with my Ferret before I head off to bed. I'm back to work tomorrow as I took the day off today.
So your freebie tonight is ribbons in the Birth Month colours. You can use them on the ornaments or however you please.

I'll be back with more ornaments on the weekend. What do you think of ornaments that have your initials on them? Let me know if you would like that as its one idea I'm tossing around.

DSO Colour Challenge & Sean Comes Home Tonight!

Okay, so I'm very excited as Sean will be home tonight after being gone for six weeks. It was a busy day though and it helped pass the time.
Tonight's Freebie is part of the DSO Colour Challenge that is held every month. I absolutely loved the colours this month and the posting bonus is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't miss out. If you have the time you should check out thier blog and forum. They have some wonderful events going on.
Here is a preview of my MiniKit. I have included an ornament hook as part of the kit and another ornament of course. I have a few in mind to give in the upcoming weeks. I was also thinking of doing some with Initials. What do you think?

Items were created at 300dpi, in .png format (except the paper) and are in a zip'd folder.

Last but NOT least.....July

I saved the July Ornament for last since I'm a July Baby! Tomorrow I will be posting my DSO Colour Challenge Mini Kit which will also have an ornament and an ornament hook you can use with any of my ornaments. I will be posting a little earlier than usual tomorrow evening as Sean will finally be home. Its hard to believe six weeks have gone by already...mind you there were plenty of times that it didn't seem to go by quickly enough

So it was a busy day today. Alex woke up too sick to go to school so I was home with her this morning, then I went into work and was busy until I touched a drawer handle in my boss's office and went into anaphylaxis. (I'm allergic to ALOE of all things and there was hand cream still on the drawer handle) I broke out in hives to my complete body in minutes and lucky for me I had medication on hand that I took as soon as I realized that the residue on the drawer handle might contain aloe - even before the hives showed or the breathing difficulty. Needless to say my boss felt terrible and drove me home immediately. I told her not to feel badly, everyone seems to have taken thier turn getting me. I'm just worried about getting caught one day with that new toilet paper that contains aloe.... wouldn't that just be a hoot... An allergic reaction after wiping your tush...bet no one ever thought that would happen some day!

So then I had my online class over at Scrap Girls and when I was done that.... I had to get Alex's songs ready for the TV station. Since she was a late entry, I have until Thursday to bring it down there.

March Freebie

I'm down the last two baby ornaments. I have a few more ornaments lined up after this though thanks to all your suggestions.

My blog writting tonight is my break from housework as Sean comes home in about 50 hours and thanks to my oldest Daughter Tanya we managed to steam clean the carpets on the weekend while everyone else was out. The kids even though they are feeling a little under the weather did thier chores tonight and helped get a few more things done around here. I even managed to wash the floors on the main floor.... an no one has spilled anything on them yet. Even the feret decided not to drop anything on the floor after having managed to get up on our kitchen counter tonight.

Okay so tonights freebie that you have been waiting for....

February Ornament Freebie

Its been a long day. My daughter Tanya came over this morning and we steam cleaned the carpets and cleaned up her sisters room. Tanya tells me Alexandra is grounded when she comes home tomorrow from her friends place tomorrow because her room was so bad.
I'm tired tonight from all that we did today and have been feeling a little lazy for the past couple of hours and just watching a few of my favorite old TV shows while I have the house to myself.
So here is tonight freebie-the February Ornament

New Store Items and a Freebie of course!

I had been selling at Digital Scrapin Store however Lorie has been spending so much time runing the store and forum that she has decided come the end of November to go solo so she can spend more time designing instead of managing a store.

Now I don't know how much you know about setting up a store but from what I have discoverd the store takes a percentage of what you sell and so does pay-pal. In knowing that I have decided for the time being that I will offer my items at a discounted rate on my own site, cut out the middle man so to speak and pass on the savings to you my customers.

You can click on the link My Store to the right to see what I have available.
Here is a preview of the two new kits I have for sale. Both are S4H/S4O and CU Friendly.

Both are available for $3.50 USD each.
Purchase Here for $3.50

6 More Sleeps & the August Ornament Freebie

A quiet day today. Was very busy at work all day and it looks like it will be a busy day again tomorrow. I can't believe how beautiful the weather is here again today. This time of year we are usually seeing the temperature at about 0 but it was 19 here today. Amazing and hope we continue the trend however the forecast does not look good.

Sean comes home in "Six more sleeps". I know its silly that as adults we keep track of days until we are together again like we use to with the kids. Its just something that has stuck though and I think its kind of sweet.

Okay so here is the August Freebie for anyone who has had an August Baby! I'm still looking for suggestions on what else to write on the ornaments... so feel free to leave your comments. Once I have posted all the "Baby" ornaments I will offer your suggestions if possible.

January Ornament Freebie

Well, less than a week to go before Sean comes home. I can hardly wait!

So.... I got pulled over again today by the cops. Really I'm not that bad of a driver. First of all this is my bike. Yes it looks like a gas scooter similar to Vespa's and such however ... its not.

So here I am getting ready to make a left hand turn at the lights in front of where I work and a minivan pulls up next to me and the driver looks over and says, "Hi, how you doing?" I in return said "Great, you?" Then he proceeds to flash his badge at me and asks "How many laws do you think your breaking right now?" I of course started to laugh and told him, "Actually, none... this is a power assisted bicycle and if you want to sort this out, I'm pulling in here where I work and I can give you all the details."

I guess since I didn't have a license plate, was wearing a bicycle helmet and was riding close to the right hand side of the lane he felt I was breaking a few laws. In reality I wasn't since here in Ontario and eight other Provinces all that is required to drive one of these is to be 16, wear a bicycle helmet and not drive on major highways. You don't need insurance, plates, drivers license or motorcycle helmet to drive one of these things. Want more information, check out Greenwit Tech, Motorino CA

Okay so tonight's freebie is the January Ornament which is Alora's Birth Month. When I met her and her Dad, she was a tiny girl, she is 14 now but as tall as her dad... and not a little girl anymore. She is all grown up and doesn't look her age, especially when she dresses up.

And before I forget, the font I use is Edwardian Script, ITC I googled it and a free one can be found here but I cannot guarantee is an exact match (although it does look the same from what I can see from the preview) the one I have is from ITC Fonts.

Working my way through the kids Birth Months

Okay, so far I've given away four out of six kids birth months ornaments. Tanya who is 20 was in April, Robert aged 17 was a September Baby, Alex (13) was my June Baby, TC and Sean were both May Babies and now tonight we will have Marc (17) who is my December Baby. He arrived in this world three months early... I tell him he was so early because he was anxious to see Santa Clause.
Which reminds me... Sean when he was visiting his parents before he went away discovered that the Dr who delivered him was a MacKay. His joke was that it was one MacKay that brought him into the world it will be another MacKay that will see him out. If he is reading this... I'll be with you right till the end Sweetie... for better or for worse. And only 9 more sleeps till he comes home.
I'll give you a hint as to the next ornament. The only one left after tonight will be Alora's who is a January Baby. Yes, I will complete the set don't worry, I've just run out of Kids to pick ornaments to give away from.
So here is tonights freebie

Alex made it!!! & A Freebie

Whoo Hoo... Alex got the phone call today and she made it to the Northern Ontario Talent Competition. I submited her video on Friday and they called on Saturday morning but she was at a sleep over so they called again today. Believe it or not she is not that excited... I don't think its sunk in just yet. All her friends were whooping and hollering when they found out. There are only two categories Over 18 and Under 18. I think once she gets there though and realizes that all of Canada will be able to see this, Channel 224 of Bell Express View December 6th she will get nervous.

Tonights freebie is for my son Robert. His birth month is September. He is pretty much all grown up now at 18. If your reading this online Robert, love you lots and I miss the quiet little boy you use to be. (He talks and talks and talks now...lol)
