This Year-Boy February Element Freebie (24 hours only)

Posting just a little late this morning so I'll leave this post up a little later tomorrow as well.  It was a lovely weekend here. I managed to get the house clean, spend some time relaxing and reading and watching Star Trek on Netflix along with another show called Medium. 

So today's freebie are the boy Elements for the month of February.  If you don't know already, when I include a person in my kits, there are five skin and hair variations of that person. The Element packs as well are not all similar either.  Each pack for the month of February will include similar items in each but many different items as well.  I hope you enjoy them and Jls, I'll take into consideration your suggestion of day/monthly items to include in the element packs.  Thank you.

This Year-Boy February Paper Freebie (24 Hours Only)

It was a busy night last night with working two jobs.  I did get some time to work on some scrapbooking and hope that tonight and up till Sunday Afternoon between house work and work I'll get some time to do even more.  I am having lots of fun creating these kits and find myself looking forward to the time I devote to scrapbooking.

This Year-Neutral January Alpha Freebie (24 Hours Only)

Well, here is the last part of the January Freebies.  If you missed out on anything be sure you use one of my coupon codes when you purchase the portions of the kit that you missed at IvyScraps.

Someone asked me about the white on white alpha... that the girl and boy alphas looked identical... almost, perhaps it is difficult to see the subtle difference in the colours however they are different shades.  I used 6 main colours in two shades to create each portion of these kits and yes the whites/beige's are very similar in each.

This Year-Girl January Alpha Freebie (24 hours only)

Well, instead of spending a miserable weekend at home missing my boyfriend, I decided after spending Saturday alone that I was just going to take matters into my own hands and at 2am Sunday morning I took the bus down to Toronto, where he picked me up at 7AM before driving back to his place in Cobourg.  You know what....it was worth it!  The fight we had this week, he apologized for and for taking things out on me this week.  He isn't perfect but he was definitely worth the sleepless night to get to spend one day/night with him.

 

Anyway, to make up for not posting this past weekend, I'll post something every day this week to play catch up....I'm sure you won't mind.  I'll try to have the new item up by 9AM.  Today, I'm posting the This Year-Girl January Alpha.

Another really quick posting as I was too tired and lazy last night to get this ready for this morning.  I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day.  My youngest daughter, her day started off well...her boyfriend snuck into the house before she woke up and put on a chair in her room a dozen pink roses, a card and some chocolates.  Ahh to be young and in love and romantic like that again......some guys just don't get that!

I know, my post is a little late this morning.  I worked late last night and when I got home after a 14 hour day... I was exhausted.  Its going to be another long day here as today is my 16 hour day....but I may just have to cut that short as I'm not sure I can handle that tonight and another 14 hour day tomorrow. 

 

So, I thought I had a date this weekend with Sean who is in Trenton and I have a long weekend but turns out he is just going to stay home so last night on my way home I decided to buy $35 worth of Chocolate to drown my sorrows in this week and weekend.  I had second thoughts about all that chocolate this morning and brought some to work and am hoping my daughter Alex eats most of it... ha ha ha.

Just a quick note this morning as I haven't slept all night and now finally at 8AM I'm thinking I should probably try to get some stuff done I had originally wanted to do today...like laundry, clean my room and bathroom and vacuum....all things I couldn't do without waking my daughter up at 2AM when I first woke up.  Nothings wrong, just one of those nights where I couldn't sleep, reading or movies didn't help either.

I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.  Mine as it turns out will be a quiet one again.  No kids except Alexandra, who seems to work all the time and be out with her friends or boyfriend and at 17, that's not much of a kid anymore.  I'm enjoying this quiet time, although with two jobs some nights are not as quiet as others, and when I do get home, I'm just ready to crash.  I hope to spend this weekend finishing up the elements for the March Kits and preparing for April's theme which I'm thinking will be "Babies" what do you think?  What suggestions do you have for kits?  Let me know what you would like to see created.

This Year-Neutral January Paper Freebie (24 hours only)

I hope everyone is enjoying these papers so far.  I've had fun creating them and the kits that are going along with them.  I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in some Quick Pages created for the iPad?  I ask since I have one and my son and his gf are going to be getting one as well and thought I could turn some of their upcoming photo's from their trip into wallpaper for their iPad or just use it to display some of their pictures.    I created this using ..... can you guess?

This Year-Girl January Paper Freebie (24 hours only)

Well, here is the second installment of my This Year series of kits.  I hope everyone likes the papers I handed out Saturday.  I'm thinking that it may be easier for me to post first thing in the mornings as I have a bit of quiet time at work during the week and same on weekends. 

 

I spent Saturday morning with my son Marc and his Girlfriend Caitlin finish up packing up his bedroom as he left around 2PM to go visit his Dad and Stepmom before they head of to Thailand on Valentines Day.  I'm hoping they take lots of pictures over the next few months and email them to me.  I'm sure they will have an amazing time.  They hope to venture into India and China as well before coming home in July.  Wouldn't it be nice to just drop everything and just take off like that?  No major worries or baggage like a house or mortgage, car payments etc to tie you down.  Oh to be young again..... (...mind you, I kind of like being older and more mature!)
