Oh some NyQuil and Vicks made me feel so much better and able to get to work today. My throat is still a bit sore-I drank hot lemon and honey to help soothe my throat. I'm going to go to bed early tonight and have another cup of lemon and honey before I hit the hay. Last thing I need is to be sick on my day off on Friday.

Mischief Letter X Freebie

Oh, I stayed home today and slept most of the day away. So much for positive thinking-and not being sick. Princess X Element Set Freebie

Just a quick post tonight as I only made it until 1:30pm today at work. So much for positive thinking. I'm off to bed early but I hope you enjoy the elements. Princess X Paper Freebie

Almost near the end-so hard to believe. I have a million idea's running through my mind for my next kit. It won't be as long as the Princess or Mischief set but hopefully just as much fun. I think I might be coming down with a bit of a cold as I have a cough and sore throat. I had Sean rub some Vicks on my throat and chest and I put a turtle-neck shirt on. Its not a cure but makes me feel better so in it's own way its working. The wonderful power of suggestion-since I refuse to be sick. (Lets see how that works out for me in the morning!)

Princess Letter X Freebie

It was a nice Saturday - Sean and I went for lunch with a girlfriend of mine and her husband. It was nice to go out as a couple with another couple. I think that is something we should do more often-even if it is just for a walk along the waterfront or lunch. This afternoon I got upset for not being able to find anything in the pit we call the storage room-Sean came upstairs and held me while we watched a show on my laptop. I know it was silly to get upset because I couldn't find my needlepoint bag with my tape measure-but I did tell Sean I was PMS'ing. Seriously though, it was nice and he went and got my hair brush out of the bathroom and my spray in conditioner and brushed my hair for a bit-totally melted my heart and relaxed me.

My knitting is coming along, I turned the heel earlier this evening and so I'm at the easy part now -well easier since it is just straight knit from now on till I get to the decrease part for the toe. I did spend a fair bit of time knitting the past couple days-the next few won't be spend on knitting as much-but it was very nice to get back into it. Can you imagine what it was like when the only socks you had were ones someone knit for you? I think I would be barefoot most of the summer and save my socks for winter if that was the case. I couldn't knit that fast or that much for six kids and a husband. lol.

So I'm liking the idea of a school theme for my next kit. If anyone has colour suggestions-please send me your suggestions. As well as suggestions for clubs, events, and occasions (As well as words) that you would like to see. Please enjoy tonight's freebie, I will be back with the X Papers tomorrow.

Mischief W Element Set Freebie

I can't believe that there are only three letters left. Thank you to everyone that has stuck it out with me these past six months-It has been wonderful, challenging and fun, I hope you have enjoyed it as well. Mischief W Paper Freebie

I got so excited today at work, my new knitting needle came in the mail. In the fall the dog ate my 12" Auddi Turbo circular knitting needle and the socks that I was in the process of making. The needles are expensive (about $18.00-$22.00 each and you need two of them) so I kept looking around the Internet as no local stores carry them for the best price for the needle and shipping. So, I was happy when I found a local yarn shop in southern Ontario that carried them and in the size I needed. Of course I came home and had to start a pair of socks. I know, my daughter is right I have no life! lol. It will be perfect for the drive to St. Jean-sur-Richileau for Robert's Graduation in April-perhaps I'll get a new pair of socks done for myself instead of the kids for a change.

It was a busy day at the office although I did find some down time at the end of the day. I came home tonight and did up the preview's for the next two evenings. I'll upload each night when I know I've looked over the sets and made sure I haven't forgotten anything. lol

Princess W Element Set & I thought I was being so smart!

I had a good chuckle when I went to bed last night and finally turned out the light. I thought I was being so smart planning ahead, getting some of the alphabet, paper and element sets ready. I even zipped up tonight's posting after finishing up the preview and uploaded it to 4 shared and the store. No sooner has my head hit the pillow do I realize I forgot to make the decorative beads so I will have to do the preview again and re-upload the file. Not a big deal-but just seemed funny when I thought I'd been so smart.

Michelle in NM, I'd love to send you an HGTV crew to your place, better yet I wish my brother would hook me up with Holmes on Homes as they have worked together in the past but no such luck for me either as apparently I live too far away from him. My younger brother Marcel is a contractor in Toronto/Missisauga area, check out his page here... under Featured Projects, there are historical renovation pictures-that is his house. It use to be an old church that was renovated. The kids love going there as the bell is still in the steple. The neighbours all know when he has company as everyone wants to ring the bell. lol.

Princess Letter W Freebie

Mischief V Elements & New Blinkie's

Okay, my daughters think I have no life and that I got overly excited last night when Eirene e-mailed me my second blinkie but in my defence I think she did an amazing job and I'm so very very impressed with the work she put into them. I sent her a few items from each kit and this is what she came up with.... what do you think?

Mischief Paper V Freebie

Mischief Paper Freebie

Well, my plan to get a good nights sleep did not work that well, I ended up lying awake until after midnight and then was awake before my alarm went off at 7:15. I'm looking forward to the weekend....I'm anxious to sleep in. Was talking to Sean today who is on his second week away on course. He finishes up Friday around 4:30PM, picks up the boys and drives home-a three hour venture after showering/clearing out of his barracks/packing his gear into the car. Not sure what time he will get home but work expects him to be there at 5:30 AM Saturday morning. Not like he was away from home for two weeks for work or anything that he should get a day off when he gets back. He won't have a day off until Wednesday as he is working Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. On a good note it was another beautiful day and I managed to get a bit of sunshine during my lunch break.

I completely forgot it was St. Patrick's day today (I can't believe that!) so no St. Paddy's day theme freebie, but I will make a shamrock bead set to add to this collection for the W Elements. In the meantime, please enjoy tonight's letters and I will be back tomorrow with the Mischief V Papers.

Princess Element V Freebie

It was another long day at work and I'm glad to be home tonight to a quiet house. Alex is having her girlfriend sleep over tonight-she was absolutely bored today with no one else home. She had the ferret out all day though and the two of them played... found evidence of that on the stairs when I got home... but... the house is still clean... even the kitchen which I think goes to show you who really makes most of the messes around here boys. lol.

Princess V Paper Freebie and the SALE continue's

Wow, seems the Sugar Gliders are popular and I've had LOTS of questions and comments. Sugar Gliders are native to Australia, they are marsupials and not part of the rodent family like squirrels and chipmunks... although are just as cute (okay, cuter) if you ask me. I did think they were the same family when I first heard about them due to thier similarity to flying squirrels. If your interested in them as pets though I do suggest you check your local by-laws because some cities/districts have laws against them. Also to note-they are only pregnant for 16 days before they give birth to a very very tiny Glider that makes its way to the pouch to reside for 6 to 8 weeks, so if you have a male and female... you could have a whole zoo before you know it! I don't recommend these as pets for everyone-they are lots of work and require fresh fruit and water daily-you can't just go away on holidays for a day or two like you would a cat or fish! But since I already have a zoo with six kids, a dog, a ferret, a lizard what's two sugar gliders to the mix. (Might I add they are both females-I made sure before bringing them home! Whew...that would have been interesting!)

I promised you pictures of my girls Peanut & Buttercup, my Sugar Gliders. They are a two years old and are not the type of pets I recomend for just anyone. They require lots of attention daily as well as a diet of fresh fruit and vegetables. They also eat mealworms, chicken and scrambled eggs & yogurt. I think thier favorite is watermellon. Little common known fact about sugar gliders is that they don't actually eat most of thier food as thier throats are only the size of a toothpick. They chew up thier food, suck out the juice and then spit out the remaining pulp. They only eat thier favorites-like watermelon and mealworms. This is one of the girls hanging from the top of thier cage eating a slice of banana.

One of thier favorite games is when we take them on the stairs. One person stands at the top of the stairs and the other at the bottom and they jump from one person to the next. We had Dylan my nephew visiting and I was able to snap this picture of him with one of the girls jumping to Sean. It is amazing to see them glide like that.

This beautiful lady sitting in the tent in my living room is my best friend Mary. When we first got the girls to get them use to us we set up a tent in the living room and let them play aound us while we sat in there with them. After awhile they started to take treats from our hands, and eventually pick them up and play with them. (The tent has now been put away)

Tonight's freebie are the Princess Letter's V. I can't believe how close to the end we are and I'm trying to come up with idea's for what may come next. One idea I have is a "Simply Basic's" group of items. Create a set of papers and elements using a colour theme. Basic elements like paper clip, binder clip, ribbon, bow, ric rac, frame, etc (the basic's) I could change the colour theme weekly. I'd even be willing to accept colour swatches to create the basic papers in various textures and elements. Anyway, enjoy tonight's letters and I will be back with papers tomorrow.

Mischief Element U Freebie

Hi Everyone, yes I had a great day at my Mom and Dad's for the baby shower for my Brother Gaetan and Sister-in-Law Catherine. I even have a picture to share--this is what happens when you stick a soon to be father in a room of women at his wife's baby shower....poor guy! Catherine is due April 17th (I suggested the 13th as that is my oldest's birthday.) This is thier first so they are both very excited.

Another long day, I cleaned my other boss's office today as she is back from holidays on Monday. She went to Florida the last week of January and is back for a week while the other boss is on his March Break.

Mischief Letter T Freebie

Oh it was a long and busy day and tomorrow will be busy as well. I think Friday should be a good day to clean my other boss Lise's office before she comes back on March Break. (Luc is still sorting through boxes I packed up when I cleaned his office. lol)

I've been racking my brain for idea's for my next kits and I still have not come up with a conclusive theme yet. I have a few ideas but I keep coming up with one after the other but nothing seems to hit me as the perfect idea yet. I'm open to suggestions though. Princess Element Set T Freebie

Well, it was a much longer day than expected and my posting tonight is much later than normal as well. I went to get my roots touched up tonight at 6PM however when we got it dry we noticed that it looked awful! The roots were fine however my previous touch ups ended up looking grey white. So after another try to put some colour back into that area we ended up touching it all up with a brown... needless to say my one hour hair dressing appointment ended up until 8:40 and I don't like the way my hair turned out. Way too long of a day though and I'm tired.

On another note, Sean on the car ride to the hair dresser's asked me if I wanted the good news or the bad news. I already knew what he was going to tell me as "a little birdy" called me today. So the good news is we have a new 46 inch flat screen TV...(I'm not sure what the bad news is, probably the bill.) I'm not sure what to say about it...its a TV--and we don't even have cable. Looks nice but I think in the last six months I've watched all of three or four movies on our TV. Well, at least the boys and Sean will enjoy playing their video games on it. Perhaps Tanya will watch her shows on it instead of her laptop.

So tonight's element set just was not going right-I've been trying to think of things children related to include and I came up with Graduation in May and June. Kindergarten Graduation was always a big deal to the kids so I hope you enjoy these elements. There are two frames (one portrait and one landscape) for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Hope you enjoy these.
