Mischief S Element Freebie

Whoo hoo... on to T starting tomorrow. Only a few more letters to go. This has been exciting and a challenge at the same time. I'm going to be sad in a way to see the end of this set but all the same that just means I can start something else. I'm not sure what yet, but I will figure it out as I've been informed that Sean is away for a few weeks in March (including March Break) and a few weeks in April. I hope he can still make it to Robert's Graduation from Basic Training in April.

Here is a picture of two of my boys, Marc and Robert. (Robert is the one holding the certificate.) This was taken when he enlisted and was getting ready to head off to basic training.

Mischief S Paper Freebie

It was a long day but Alexandra and her team played well. Her first game the score was 59 to 7 and the second game was 60 to 13. She played well and managed to score quite a few points for her team. I know she was happy with how she played and how the team played.

Mischief Letter S Freebie

Oh, it was a very very busy day and I was expecting to get up with Sean's alarm this morning and drive him to work for 5:30AM however I was lucky enough that one of his partners picked him up so I was able to sleep in until 7:45 AM. With the end of the month, I'm busy preparing rent deposits, mortgage deposits and such-besides the rest of the everyday work that still needs to get done.

Well, Alex is off with her girlfriend to watch the Olympic Hockey game at a friends house. I'm not sure if I mentioned it before however we don't have cable in our house. Seems the kids were always recording nonsense and watching the same show over and over again and again.... finally I got tired of it and decided to cancel the cable for the summer anyway. Turns out it wasn't the worst idea I ever had and it is very rare do they complain about not having tv. (Tonight is a rare occasion.)

So I am hoping to get myself to bed at a decent hour tonight as I know it is going to be a long day. I'm not anxious to drive to Sudbury tomorrow as the snow here has made the roads slippery the past few days and it is an hour and half drive starting at 7AM. Princess Element S Freebie

I am so very looking forward to the weekend even though I have to drive to Sudbury at 7AM so that Alexandra makes it in time for a 9AM Basketball game on Saturday. She was still feeling under the weather this morning and I did suggest she stay home but she wanted to go to school and was okay tonight when I got home.

Someone recently asked me about my name as they had never seen it spelled that way before. I am French Canadian and that is the french spelling of Natalie. I unfortunaltely have lost most of my french however Alexandra and TC are in French Immersion High School.

So tonight's element set started as a thought when I created the bead alphabet. I thought it would make for a great frame spelling out names or idea's. I came up with the idea of putting seasonal shapes on them about two weeks ago-I hope you like them. This Element Package includes the blank beads in the matte and glossy format in the 5 styles shown in the preview below. I will include one more set of beads with each of the remaining element sets so that you have a variety covering the most popular holidays. The package includes two bead frames, one in matte and one in glossy...I created the example below by lining up the alphabet and shape beads over the frame I created and included in the element set. There are ten border ribbons and one wire frame with 15 tape words.

I walked into Alexandra's room one night to discover her reading one of my antique fairy tale books, alseep with it still proped up... it was priceless so I had to take the picture.

Princess Paper S Freebie

I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the wonderful comments and all the care and concern you have expressed to me and my family since I started blogging. There are a few who always comment, share a story, kind word or thought and I'd like you to all know it is very appreciated. Others, occasionally comment when they have something to share or just want to express their thanks. Either way, I'd like to say thank you to those that take the time to comment and such. Having said that, to update you about Alexandra-still no news or report on her tests on Monday but I wasn't expecting to hear just yet unless they had bad news (so I'm sure it is all good so far.) Me, I managed to get sleep last night and my Sunday and Monday liquid diet... I've recovered from. I never realized just how not having solids for more than 24 hours can upset your system...and next time if I'm ever in that situation, I'm going to make sure I have a lunch packed the night before to take to work in case things are rushed in the morning...lol. (I never realized my stomach could gurgle that loudly!)

So please enjoy the paper's tonight, I will be back tomorrow with the Elements. I still have not decided for sure yet what I'm going to include yet but I'm sure it will be good. I'll think about it at work tomorrow and decide. In the mean time, please enjoy tonight's papers.

Princes Letter S Freebie

Well, Monday was a little rougher on me than I expected.....lol. Alex however managed to get through her Barium okay. So Sunday I did the fasting and clear liquid diet that Alexandra had to have to get ready for her test on Monday. Honestly, I was hungry come Sunday night and cheated when I went to the kitchen and saw a bowl of cereal on the counter....I had to grab a handful before heading back upstairs and watching "Anne of Green Gables, the Continuing Story" with Alex. She had it rough, she was sick to her stomach at the same time she was sitting on the toilet. We were up until 3AM before she fell asleep finally, I did not fall asleep until 3:30 however and then was up at 7AM to get ready to go to the hospital...didn't eat breakfast either because she couldn't. Headed straight to work after her test as Sean was home-forgot to bring lunch to work so I was able to enjoy a cup of soup that I had at work. Yes more soup-yum. I guess Sean was tired as he had stayed up the night before and he forgot to pick me up from work (because he was asleep) until I called him at 5PM...just in time for us to get to our 5:30 appointment that lasted until 7PM....by then I had a headache and was nausea's. I was lucky enough to have Sean make me something to eat before going to bed-I just couldn't post.

So we are now finally at the letter S-only a few more to go. If you have any suggestions for Elements or words for the final word bag please let me know. Princess and Mischief Bag of Words

Well, I'm not sure how well I'm going to feel tomorrow to post. Alexandra is at Formal tonight-I hope she enjoys tonight as I know she is dreading tomorrow and Monday. I have decided that I'm going to support her tomorrow by having the same diet of broth, juice, water, and jello. (I'm just going to skip the suppository medication she has to take.) I've warned Sean that we will probably stay in our room tomorrow during the day to watch "The Waltons" so she has a private bathroom to use. I have no idea how all that water, juice and broth is going to affect my system...I doubt I'm going to feel my best and may need the extra bathroom myself so I may not be up to posting, however I will be back on Monday with the Princess Letter S's.

Princess & Mischief Valentine Bonus Freebie, News & Facebook

Just a couple of things, first I will be redoing the word Recipe since I did misspell it and include it in the two bag of words for tomorrow's posting for both kits. Mischief R Element Freebie

Despite the interruption of a long weekend and being whisked away we have finally arrived to the Element Set R for the Mischief Kit. I was not sure what license plate I was going to create for the boys kit-until I thought of my son Robert. He was fast-too fast at times and very like my brother Marcel always finding a way to find Mischief. lol.

I hope everyone has had a great week-mine has been busy at work and at home. Marc my son has suggested the guys get together Friday for a poker night, and Saturday night is Alexandra's Formal for School. (Just before her Monday ordeal at the hospital-she is having a barium enema to see if they can find out why she is having such pains in her stomach.) I will let you know if they find anything. Valentine Mischief Freebie

I'm terribly sorry for not posting the Mischief Freebie's yesterday or on Sunday night as planned. Sean had a Valentine surprise for me - for us - a night away from home, away from the kids etc. It was a very relaxing evening for the two of us. Thank you for arranging a night alone together Sean!

Princess Valentine Freebie With Bonus QP's

I managed to sleep in today and spend a quiet couple of hours this afternoon while the kids were at the gym-well sort of, I had plenty of phone interuptions. Mischief R Paper Freebie

It was a lovely day at my parents house and we did not walk as far as we normally would. This year we went about all of 100 feet from the house...lol. My parents have an older Great Aunt living with them and she cannot walk very far but it was important to include her so we did the fire in the field next to the house. Roasted hotdogs, marshmallo's and hot chocolate. Ruth couldn't remember the last time she roasted a hot dog on a fire so it was nice. After lunch Sean, TC, my Dad and I walked a little over a kilometer through the bush to my Aunt's house were we had a short visit. It was a nice walk and great day.

Well, tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I do have a kit for you, which I will upload for you tomorrow sometime during the day when I put the finishing touches on it (and make the previews). I will be uploading the R Elements on Monday however for now enjoy the papers.

Mischief Letter R Freebie

Finally it is Friday and I have a long weekend to enjoy. Sean and TC spent the night doing guy stuff....while I worked on items for the blog-even worked on some Valentine Items. Tomorrow we are heading out to my parents for our annual winter picnic. We usually hike out into the bush and make hot dogs and hot chocolate. This year it is just TC and Alex with Sean and I, as Tanya and Marc are working. I'm looking forward to spending a day outdoors with the kids and Sean.

Princess R Paper Freebie

Terribly sorry I did not post last night however when I got home from work all I wanted to do was find a dark quiet room and lay my head down and sleep. I had such a terrible migraine that I told the boys they had to cook dinner. I mentioned there was chicken wings and potato wedges in the freezer so that's what they made. There were a few interruptions from the phone ringing and no one answering it, to kids knocking on the door asking permission to do one thing or another but I stayed in bed and got the sleep I needed to get rid of the migraine. (Well with the help of some migraine pills too!)

Princess Letter R Freebie

It was a busy day again today and Alexandra started her day with another trip to the hospital because of stomach pains again in the lower right hand side. Today was visit number 3 to the hospital and since women problems, and appendix were ruled out the last two visits today they checked for Kidney stones-nope to that too. So lucky her she gets to have a Barium Enema on the 22nd of this month then an Upper GI beginning of March. She is not looking forward to either test but hopefully they will yield results. I hate seeing her in pain to the point where she is crying on the couch holding her side. Tonight she was in bed when I got home from work at 5PM.

So I have had requests to do more alphabet blocks. I think once the Valentine Kits are up this weekend, I will work on some more. In the meantime, please enjoy these letters and I will be back tomorrow with the Princess R Papers.

Mischief Element Q Freebie

I couldn't help but smiling when my boss walked into work this morning anticipating his reaction to his files and desk contents all boxed up. I said just remember how much you like me as a secretary before you walk into your office. He started to laugh and then said..."OH" when he saw his files etc all in boxes for him to sort. He wasn't upset-but it was a busy day and he didn't have much time to sort through boxes. One box at a time he tells me and it will all get sorted out.

Mischief Q Paper Freebie

Well, the weekend is over and I'm not exactly sure I'm ready for work on Monday. I have lots of things to do tomorrow and I know it will be a long day. There are a bunch of bills I need to make sure get paid and I want to finish cleaning the office.

On a good note, Sean and I had a date tonight. Might not sound too exciting but we went to Twiggs a local coffee shop and I had an Espresso and a chocolate brownie type cheesecake. It had brownie chunks on top of it and I got whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Hmmm, amazing! Sean had tea and a carrot cake. We finished our date by going through the car wash before heading home to watch "The Maltese Falcon" with Humphrey Bogart.

So there were questions about if tomorrow's element set were going to be school items like the Princess set. The answer is of course yes-I did the same items in the Mischief colours for you. Mischief Q Letter Freebie

I was able to sleep in this morning-what a wonderful feeling! Sean got up this morning and made coffee for us, I got up after it was made and was able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with some home-made bannana muffins that he had made yesterday on his day off. Felt kind of spoiled this morning-it was nice.

I've been reading more of my Grandmother's story. Yes it is very very nice to read things she has written. When my kids were smaller I gave her a Grandmother's Memory Book. It had questions and spaces for her to fill in about her life in general. I never saw her write in it and when she passed away my Aunt found it and gave it back to me. I was plesantly surprised when looking through it, I discovered my Grandmother had taken the time to fill in a number of pages. Reading the pages my father gave me I have decided I'm going to type out the pages and next weekend go to my parents place and scan in some old photo's and surprise my parents and my Aunt and Uncle with a photo book of my Grandmother's story accented by photo's. Kind of like a scrapbook. I'll talk to other family members-perhaps they may have pictures that may be useful as well.

So-everyone likes my baby blocks-Thank you so very very much. Yes they would make a great alphabet....lol. I have five sets of blocks in the store-they have been there for about a year and they co-ordinate with the baby kits I have for sale. I was not planning on creating a wood block alphabet set with this kit, but perhaps I may change my mind. (I was thinking perhaps next set of kits I create I could use them.)

Princess Q Element Freebie

It is nice to finally have the weekend to look forward to. Dinner, dishes, and my element set are done and 8PM hasn't even arrived yet. Alex is at a friends house, Sean and his son TC are at the gym, Marc is on his way to a school dance-so the house is quiet. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself. Perhaps invite Glassofvino over and watch a movie. (Glass of vino)

I had one idea in mind for tonight's element set, then as I sat down today to create, these came to mind. My Dad dropped off some papers to me yesterday for me to type out. It was a story my Grandmother had written about her life starting when she was young. I read some of it last night, and got to the part where she had written her entrance exam for high school and how she became a teacher afterwards and thought, school.... some school items for scrapbooking might be nice. The blocks are two word art pieces-not individual letters. I hope you can use them for your layouts. Princess Q Paper Freebie

Another long day, and I think my boss may raise his voice a bit when he gets back to work on Monday. I cleaned his desk with cleaner today and gave his office a good vacuum and dusting. Everything that was on his desk and floor I put in box's or trays. Every surface in there is clean however there are about a dozen or so box's or trays on his desk. He isn't one to complain-actually he may even find if funny that he comes back and everything in his office is boxed up. I'm thinking of telling him he was fired while he was away. Tomorrow I'm going clean my desk area and next week while Lise is away I'll do her office.

Princess Letter Q Freebie

Yes, Michelle, I'm anxious for spring to arrive. I even got in the "spring" mood today by doing some major cleaning at the office. Tomorrow I tackle my boss's office while he is away on holidays. I am sure he may not appreciate the fact I plan on putting everything on his desk and floor in box's for him to sort when he gets back however... really, it needs a good cleaning. (He thinks he cleaned it before he left-women and men seem to differ on the point of clean obviously.)

Its hard to believe that we are already at the letter Q. I was making my list of Q words earlier today... I had to get the dictionary out just to find ten words for this weeks tape words. I'm also working on a Valentine Add-On which reminded me I said I would upload a picture from Sean's Christmas Party. I used the paper from the Christmas Kit and some of the elements from previous freebies. I forgot to save it as a 12x12 because the picture I had on my laptop was not the best quality (not the original file) so I had resized the page to fit the picture. I'll try to redo the page this weekend and save it as a QP for you. For the Christmas Party I was not feeling my best-and only two of the kids were able to make it to the dinner, Alexandra and Marc. I was just happy Sean was home from his tour and I finally had a chance to wear the dress he brought home for me in August.

Mischief Element P Freebie

It was a busy day at work and a busy household this morning. TC had his first day at school-sounds like it went well. He even had a friend from school call him tonight.

Tonight's freebie was inspired by the Princess P Element Set. When I wasn't sitting under a tree reading my books as a child, I was in a tree building a tree fort or sitting in a hammock I'd made using baling twine from bales of hay. I miss the freedom and carefree feeling of those days.
